Workshop Electrical FitterPermanent Position£34,306 (£16.49 Per hour) + Generous Overtime RatesExcellent Benefits including 24 Days Standard, Company Sick Pay, Pension Scheme, Support Development and Training, Free Onsite Parking, Tools Supplied.08:00-17:00 Monday-FridayLiverpoolA fantastic opportunity has arisen with our client who are leaders in Pump manufacture, rental, and sales. Due to rapid continuous growth, they are looking to add a Workshop Electrical Fitter to their team. You will need to carry out full repair ofelectrical submersible/surface pumps and motors, this will include electrical tasks concerning motors and mechanical tasks concerning bearings and mechanical seals.Workshop Electrical Fitter Job Description

  • Maintain and repair electrical/mechanical pump sets within the hire fleet and any customer units as required to the required legislative standards.
  • Carry out work in compliance with recommended manufacturers procedures and having regard for own health and safety, company employees, customers, general public and the environment.
  • To understand, interpret and work to the relevant instructions and technical information available to carry out all tasks in the most efficient and safe manner.
  • To communicate accurately with immediate supervisor, work colleagues and customers alike on job requirements e.g., cost, downtime, and identifying cause.
  • To be focused on quality, timescales and working as part of a team.
  • All small tools or equipment used to be kept in good condition. Any defects found must be reported to supervisor.
  • To comply with all PPE requirements, either by Selwood or specific customer site regulations.
Workshop Electrical Fitter Essential Skills/Experience/Qualifications
  • Proven electrical experience or qualifications.
  • Mechanical experience
  • Experience working similar electrical roles.
Workshop Electrical Fitter Desirable Skills/Experience/Qualifications
  • ECS Gold card.
  • Ideally experience within the pump industry
