Job Description

Adaptable Recruitment are delighted to be supporting this well established charity in their hunt for a Head of HR to lead the People function and work closely with the Director of Finance.This role will offer a great opportunty to shape the strategy, and you will have be influencing senior stakeholders in doing so. Ideally you will have proven success in leading values-driven organisational development initiatives such as IIP.They are offering a hybrid working pattern and main sites are based in Liverpool and Manchester.Salary:

Duties:
  • Lead on the development of the organisation to become an Employer of Choice, attracting and retaining the best talent to achieve the strategic and operational objectives contained in the strategic plan.
  • Lead on the development of the #OneCrew culture, ensuring values-led behaviours at all levels.
  • Lead on the attainment and ongoing management of Investors in People (IIP) accreditation.
  • Develop strategies and plans to maximise employee engagement throughout the organisation
  • Line manage the members of the People & Culture team, providing coaching and guidance as required.
  • Develop, implement and interpret People & Culture policies, procedures and systems in line with employment legislation.
  • Interpret and advise on employment legislation and terms and conditions of employment
  • Develop and implement performance management systems
Experience:
  • At least 5 years experience of successfully leading a People & Culture team.
  • At least 5 years experience of being a business partner.
  • Proven success in leading values-driven organisational development initiatives e.g. IIP.
  • Proven ability to obtain and maintain strong employee engagement.
  • Demonstrable experience of putting systems in place to ensure that the needs of the organisation are met e.g. absence recording, payroll etc.
