Job Description

Working for my client you are guaranteed opportunities for continued professional development via access to accredited training.THE ROLEDue to a newly expanded UK contract, my client is on the hunt for an experienced and drivenSeniorCapacity Analystto join their highly successful team, the working model is on a remote basis with a need to be in office asa team up to 3 days per month, travel costs & accommodation provided. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a flagship contract with excellent career progression opportunities.Reporting to the Analytics & Strategy Director, you will be joining a verywell regarded and strong Analytics and Performance team with a remit to provide accurate, clear, and time-sensitive reporting to both internal and external stakeholders.

  • Accountable to develop a strategy and standard around capacity analysis and processes to ensure consistent reporting including annual plans to support with business planning strategies
  • Responsible for recording, reporting, and driving Demand & Capacity activity across the variety of functions to deliver the continuous improvement of Demand & Capacity related MI and processes
  • Pro-actively interrogate MI and data streams including historic data to understand trends, and support accurate forecasting
  • Build strong relationships with business and functional stakeholders to understand business direction, processes, issues, decisions, and shape data requirements for reporting, analysis, and insight
  • Build reports and analytics to understand the what, why and what-if scenarios
  • Create easy to understand, interactive and intuitive dashboards and business reports using Power BI
  • Demonstrate tools and data analytics subject matter expertise to provide coaching and guidance to stakeholders and team members.
  • Contribute to the Power BI platform strategy and functional roadmaps to ensure the analytics and performance service remains technically appropriate to meet business requirements
  • Actively contribute to the success of colleagues and teams through collaboration, coaching and sharing expertise
  • Day to Day management of the functional analyst team (2-3)
ABOUT YOU
  • You have fantastic time management skills with good ability to manage various ongoing deadlines.
  • Experience of delivery across a multi-site environment and comfortable with project focused delivery as well ad-hoc
  • Extensive experience in using Power BI to generate high quality End-user reports with bias towards Report Builder functionality of Power BI
  • Knowledge of Minitab and or other statistical analysis and forecasting tools
  • Extensive knowledge of Power BI, Excel and statistical software is essential.
  • Great communication skills being able to communicate with any level of stakeholder.
  • Understanding of Data Protection principles
  • Support staff and teams in testing change including helping to resolve any issues
  • Work with cross-functional teams and various stakeholders, including analytics, design/user experience, and user enablement
  • Work in an Agile environment and continuously review the business needs, refine priorities, outline milestones and deliverables, and identify opportunities and risks.
  • Experience in presenting data reports to stakeholders of varying backgrounds and seniority
