Management Accountant - £45-50KWhy this companyThis is an exciting opportunity to join a growing and thriving SME business based in North Liverpool. The business is going through a period of internal change and restructure . A supportive senior management team with a national presence with a friendlyand stable finance team working in a collaborative setting. To achieve the strategic plans of the business there is a need to appoint a hands on commercially focused Management Accountant.What is expected You will report into the Financial Controller who leads from the front. This is a superb opportunity for a finance professional who has hit a ceiling of progression where they are and will be given that next step to make an impact quickly. The main focusfor this role will be commercially led with preparing management accounts, budget setting, cash flow along with forecasting. A hands-on approach is essential with the ability to provide support and problem solving for all areas of the wider business.In addition, you will manage the fixed assets, oversee payroll along with VAT returns and nominal ledgers .This is a visible role that will grow and develop as the business grows along with a working relationship with internal stakeholders.What would make you a perfect fit You will ideally be CIMA or ACA/ACCA Qualified but also open to active studiers and Qualified by Experience applicants. A sound technical grounding in a commercial setting is essential with the ability to be hands on with transactional finance.Championing a culture of progression is extremely important to the values of the business.
