Liberty offers professional gas installation, maintenance and servicing, as well as energy solutions, with a strong commitment to value for money services that make a positive difference to people and the communities in which we work.We are looking to recruit an experienced Business Intelligence Developer to work in North West region (mainly Knowsley).This is a full time position which will be part of a multi-disciplined team to review, setup, develop, support and improve reporting solutions according to requirements utilising business intelligence tools across Liberty.The role will also involve regular collation, provision, analysis and reporting of intelligence and data that supports the business and informs activity. The successful candidate will use their expertise in data visualisation, ETL and report development to provide intelligence capable of enabling insight and empowering business change.The successful candidate will:Create and support existing BI solutions (analysis/reporting/dashboard) based on T-SQL and not limited to SSRS, SSIS, and associated agent jobs/related SQL admin/security where necessary.Review, develop and maintain reports that enable services to operate effectively and understand current levels of performance whilst at all times ensuring data is accurate.Research, review, and analyse the effectiveness and efficiency of existing reporting and develop strategies for enhancing or further leveraging these processes and solutions.Meet with stakeholders, business units, and end users to define reporting and intelligence requirements and goals, translating those business needs into technical specifications.Develop our Intelligence position and functionality in order to helps us improve Liberty’s data led approach.Identify ways of utilising external intelligence within our systems and intelligence tools.To be successful for the role the candidate should have:A Degree in IT related discipline or equivalentExcellent knowledge and understanding of the fundamentals of SQL/SQL Server management Studio and Visual Studio, experience with SSIS/SSAS/SSRSProven knowledge and experience of BI Reporting and tools: OLAP SSAS tabular design, Power BI (preferred), implementation & overall frameworkDemonstrated understanding of modern enterprise architecture, data warehouse experience with enterprise business intelligence platformsHave proven experience of training end users in reporting tools to enable self-service reportingProven ability to adapt to changing technologies, established fault diagnosis & troubleshooting skillsWe offer a range of benefits for a rewarding career including a pension scheme and staff discount club membership.
