You will approach operational challenges with creativity to really drive the business forward in a positive, pro-active manner.You will:Act as the senior authority on fleet asset and engineering management Establish and implement transport fleet business strategy and plans for the effective and efficient impact on operations, customer service, business objectives and overall result. Maintain excellent customer relations in negotiations concerning fleet design and procurement Ensure the fleet meets all legal and statutory requirements Oversee and manage all fleet maintenance and other suppliers and contractors ensuring the highest standards are maintained Manage vehicle fuel consumption and performance using telematics and SAFED driving techniques Work with fleet manufacturers and bodybuilders concerning fleet specification, design and procurement Manage and monitor defect process Investigate vehicle incidents relating to vehicle damage/ performance/accidents and train drivers on defensive driving techniques Manage all workshop health and safety in-line with the company standards Back ground and skills.Deal with driver complaince.You will need to have a clean driving license You will also have strong management skills.You will need to hold qualification in commercial engineering You will need to be IT literate to intermediate level Required skills
