Job Description

Our client values transparency, customersatisfaction, and efficient service delivery.Do you have a passion for sales and are driven by money If so, this role may be your next dream role!Due to a period of growth for the business our Harrogate based client are on the lookout for sales driven and progression hungry Account Executives to join their expanding on a full-time permanent basis.The role:As an Account Executive specialising in car sales, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth and establishing strong customer relationships. You will be responsible for promoting financing options, closing sales deals, and ensuring a seamlesscar buying experience for clients, you will be responsible for building relationships with new and existing customers and bringing in new business.The package:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Full time permanent position
  • 8:45am to 5:30pm with 1-hour unpaid lunch.
  • Location: Harrogate (Must be able to commute to Harrogate)
  • Initially, the role will initially be office based to facilitate the necessary training. However, upon successful completion of the probationary period, a hybrid work arrangement may be considered.
  • Salary on offer: Basic salary + OTE up to £50,000! This is to increase to 6-digit figures with progression.
  • Enhanced Commission Structure (months 0 - 10)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales Generation: The Account Executive Actively will prospect and acquire new customers through various channels such as referrals, networking, and leads. Following up all new leads or business opportunities with several pre-agreed phonecalls and relevant texts/emails as per company guidelines.
  • Customer Consultation: Understand customers needs and preferences to recommend suitable vehicles and financing solutions. Recording all conversations, the notes of conversations and results of conversations on company systems. Obtainingfull knowledge of your customer for qualification.
  • Finance Solutions: Educate customers on available financing options and guide them through the application process. Understanding credit submission procedures, recommendations, and lender systems.
  • Deal Negotiation: The Account Executive will negotiate sales terms, pricing, and financing agreements to reach mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, dealerships, and other stakeholders. Managing and developing a portfolio of customers
  • Sales Administration: Complete necessary paperwork, contracts, and documentation accurately and efficiently.
  • Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to identify opportunities for growth. Recording the source of all enquiries for company marketing purposes.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction and retention. Recording contact numbers and emails of all new enquiries and customers
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Proven track record in automotive sales, preferably in car finance or dealership settings.
  • Strong sales acumen with the ability to close deals and meet sales targets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering outstanding service.
  • Negotiation skills and the ability to influence decision-makers.
  • Detail-oriented and organised with proficient computer skills.
  • Knowledge of car financing processes and regulations is an advantage.
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in sales or related fields.
