Job Description

To effectively carry out hygiene operations within prep, manufacturing and production areas to ensure that storage areas and equipment is stripped, cleaned and reassembled in accordance with recognised procedures and standards, including health and safety so as to continually produce safe food. In this role you will:

  • Report to and recieve general direction fro the Hygiene Shift Manager
  • Responsible for carrying out hygiene operations and ensuring that physical, bacterial, allergen and chemical contamination of food does not occur.
  • To be able to recognise potential contamination issues and to report them accodingly.
  • Responsibe for operating all tools, plant and equipment to prescribed training standards and making sure PPE is worn at all times.
  • Responsible for Deep Cleaning requirements and recpgnising opportunities for other deep cleaning operations.
  • Work closesly and build relationships with other Hygiene team members as well as other production/operation staff.

What we’re looking for To join the Hygiene team at our Kiveton site, you must have the following:
  • Good understanding of English Literacy and Numeracy
  • Experience in a Hygiene role is preferred
  • Experiene in a Food Manufacturing Factory is preferred
  • Able to work well in a team
  • Open to learning new roles within a team
  • Assist in training of new and exisiting personel
