Job Description

HR Manager | Sheffield Our client a highly successful SME manufacturing / engineering company, are looking to strengthen their business with appointing a standalone HR Manager to work as part of their senior management team. You will be responsible for the consistent and effectivemanagement of the companies HR activities. They are looking to recruit a proactive HR Manager who can provide support to the development and delivery of the HR strategy across the business.Your responsibilities as HR Manager:

  • Responsible for all aspects of the day to day running of the HR area
  • Providing guidance and coaching to managers to empower them to make effective people decisions
  • Develop, support and deliver employee engagement and change management programs across the business
  • Provide advice on all aspects of Company policy, best practice, employee relations and employment law
  • Create and review HR Management Information and suggest areas of improvement
  • Lead and manage recruitment process / talent management and requirements across the business
  • Support and lead various ad-hoc projects as dictated by the needs of the business
  • HR system management and improvement
  • Responsible for the companies payroll, including running the monthly payroll along with dealing with any queries
About you:
  • Credibility and impact to act as a true HR Manager / HR business partner (HRBP) to the business and its managers
  • Significant experience in a HR Manager role, (true HR generalist background) ideally within a growth mindset business and manufacturing environment
  • Good knowledge of current Employment Law.
  • Good knowledge and working experience of payroll processing
  • Excellent leadership and influencing skills.
  • CIPD qualification is desirable
