Process Engineer / Design Engineer | Sheffield | Salary: Dependant on experienceProcess Engineer / Design Engineer required, for a niche market international technical engineering group. If you are an experienced, hands on, engineer who has a passion for mechanical engineering / precision engineering and driven by quality this is afantastic career opportunity. As a process engineer you will be working within a number of different areas of the business including Carbon Fibre area, working to ensuring projects and tasks are delivered on time and within budget. As the process engineeryou will work closely to the Senior Management Team and the engineering / production team to provide support as needed.This is a truly pivotal role and a job where you wont be sitting at your desk all day! The ideal candidate will have a background within Aerospace / Automotive or precision engineering.Reporting to the Engineering Director, as a process engineer you will provide engineering, design engineering and technical support to number of projects at any one time. At times this roles requires a hands on approach.Process Engineer / Design Engineer key responsibilities:

Managing multiple projects including the development, review and approvals of technical specifications, drawings and design reports.
Managing current and new project portfolio, designing practical solutions for challenging conditions, working closely with customers and to their specifications.
Providing practical solutions based on detailed assessments and analysis
Provide input and prepare conceptual detailed engineering designs and engineering studies
Work closely with customers from concept design through to completion
Deliver a cost effective, high quality and safe approach to design
Effectively communicate and co-operate within a project team to support the achievement of a project brief
Share both knowledge and experience with other team members
Assist in the collection and analysis of data and reporting KPIs

Process Engineer / Design Engineer requirements:

A Engineering Degree / HNC/HND Mechanical Engineering or significant experience demonstrating appropriate ability to fulfil the accountabilities of the role.
Possibility for Mechanical Engineering Graduates, with some degree relevant work experience
Good analytical skills, including ERP, MS Systems
Auto Cad experience
Ability to read technical drawings
Experience of working within an engineering environment
Production Engineer / Design Engineer / Process Engineer
A forward thinker, someone who is used to being self motivated and gets on with it
Experience of complex problem-solving capabilities and be a really strong communicator
