Job Description

If this is of interest, then please read on....REED Accountancy & Finance are delighted to be working with a client based in Redcar, who are looking to appoint a full-time and permanent Accounts Assistant to join their friendly team.Paying a salary of up to £25,000 (depending on experience) and working 37.5 hours per week, MondayFriday, 8:30am4:30pm.Role and responsibilities:

  • Running daily accounting processes including Sales Ledger, Purchase Ledger, Cash Postings, Petty Cash and all General Ledger tasks
  • Invoicing of customers
  • Credit Control
  • Dealing with customer enquiries
  • Ordering of Stock
  • Liaising with customers
  • General Administration of the business including scanning, filing etc.
The successful candidate will have/be:
  • Computer literate with strong knowledge of SAGE 50
  • Previous experience working in a similar role
  • Self-sufficient and organised, who requires minimal supervision
  • Good telephone manner
  • Forward-thinking who will share new ideas to develop the role
  • Proactive, personable and professional
