An exciting opportunity has arisen for a registered nurse with considerable respiratory nursing experience to gain specialist knowledge in the management of patients with a variety of chronic respiratory conditions within the Respiratory Specialist Nursing team. The team delivers a wide range of independent nurse led specialist services including, early supported discharge and follow up, domiciliary noninvasive ventilation/CPAP, home sleep study set up, biologic therapy service for asthma, counselling, antifibrotic therapy and support service for patients with interstitial lung disease and a range of independent nurse led clinics.As a respiratory nurse specialist you will be required to work autonomously both in hospital and the community delivering a high standard of expert care to patients with chronic lung conditions across Fife, liaising with our primary care partners to promote joint working. A willingness to develop and undertake further training is essential.
