Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Purchase Ledger and Supply Chain Administrator available for an immediate start in Kirkcaldy.Hybrid option, free parking on-site, a friendly and open office with 9 staff working in the office on a day to day basis.This role is 30hrs M-F flexible in terms of the start and finish time providing its between the hours of 9-5.Full time could be considered for the right candidate.Youd be starting on an agency contract due to the urgency of the position, with the view to move to a permanent role.£11 - £12.50 per hour depending on experience.Responsibilities:- Manage stock ordering processes, including generating coding, checking invoices, and handling purchase enquiries- Collaborate closely with the accounts receivable team for enquiries, statements, invoice copies, administration, and other requirements - Receive goods into the system and process purchase orders- Track supplier spend and report on monthly purchases and price discounted supplier agreements- Communicate with suppliers and stakeholders- Provide supply chain administration and telephone support when required- Work closely with the warehouse and dispatch teams for efficient stock management- Liaise with account managers as necessaryRequirements:- Strong administration skills- Confident communicator, written and verbal- Positive can-do attitude- Previous experience in a Supply Chain/Purchase Ledger position- Knowledge of working on Excel spreadsheets- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work towards deadlinesSearch is an equal opportunities recruiter and we welcome applications from all suitably skilled or qualified applicants, regardless of their race, sex, disability, religion/beliefs, sexual orientation or age.
