Bowden 65 Bennochy Road, Kirkcaldy, Fife, KY2 5RBTel Nurse Practitioner Vacancy20 Hours (Wed 2-6, Thur and Fri 8.45-5.45)SALARY - £37,250 - £44,750 pro-rataDue to our Nurse Practitioner relocating, we are looking for a Nurse Practitioner to join our team. We are a well established undergraduate and postgraduate training practice, with 8800 patients, a full complement of GPs (7), 2 Nurse Practitioners, 2 Practice Nurses, 1 Phlebotomist and a supportive administration team. Bennochy Medical Centre is in central Fife, easily commutable from Edinburgh and many areas outside Fife.This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated practitioner interested in increasing their clinical responsibility within a forward thinking and supportive practice. The practice encourages and supports staff in continuous professional development. We want to hear from you, if you:• can exercise a high degree of personal, professional autonomy as well as having confidence in dealing with face to face consultations, patients with undiagnosed conditions, minor illness and the management of both acute and chronic disease conditions. • either hold an advanced nurse practitioner qualification, be working towards this (and within a few months of completion) or have other relevant, equivalent qualification(s). • have completed an advanced, independent, non-medical prescribing qualification. • have extensive post registration experience and experience within Primary Care (both are desirable, but not essential).• enjoy consulting through a mixture of telephone/video consultations and face-to-face appointments.• can demonstrate on-going self-motivated commitment to continued professional development.• are able to work flexible hours, according to the needs of the practice during periods of annual leave.• have vision, willingness and drive, to adapt to changes in the NHS. • will be enthusiastic, happy to work independently with the support of the wider practice team when required, and thrive on working to high standards.If you possess the right level of commitment and drive to deliver the highest level of service to our patients, and practice team, please visit our website for an application pack (CVs will not be accepted).
