An opportunity has arisen within the Women, Children & Clinical Services Directorate for a Clerical Officer to work within the Children’s Unit.The post will be based in the Children’s Ward, but will work closely with in all areas of the Paediatric Unit.We are looking to recruit a flexible, hard working individual who will compliment our present team of Clerical Assistants. You must possess excellent communication skills, both in person and on the telephone, work to a high standard and be keen to develop the service as the need arises.As the first person the public will meet on arriving in the department, you must be welcoming, keen to assist anxious parents and children and remain calm when under pressure.Knowledge of patient TRAK and other IT system would be advantageous in this role along with general clerical/reception duties.In return we will provide you with an orientation period and a mentor until settled into the post.
