Are you looking for an RF/Microwave Design Engineer role in North YorkshireWe are currently recruiting on behalf of a global leading design and manufacturing business with a heritage of 53 years in delivering precision custom engineering solutions.Operating from North Yorkshire, my client has a global customer base across multiple business sectors including Aerospace, Space, Defence, Medical, Automotive and Construction.As an RF/Microwave Design Engineer you will be responsible for:*To carry out, as the electrical authority, the design and development of RF micro-wave waveguide components, assemblies and sub-systems.*To verify new designs by the appropriate means (such as calculation, simulation, similarity and read across, or hard model prototypes) per the agreed specification.*To complete all necessary documentation (such as compliance matrix, design review, acceptance test procedure, reports) in accordance with company procedures.The successful candidate for this RF/Microwave Design Engineer job will have:*Degree qualified in Electronics, Electrical, Physics or similar discipline or equivalent experience in RF and Microwave design of passive waveguide devices and sub systems.*Experience of RF Microwave design at 4 Ghz to 40 GHz*Working experience with passive waveguide devices such as tees, couplers, power dividers, rotary joints, loads, waveguide to coax adaptors, transducers, comparators, antenna.*Experience in microwave simulation and design tools such as Ansoft HFSS or CST.This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a dynamic R&D focused company that support the career progression and development of all employees.To apply for this RF/Microwave Design Engineer role please contact Nick Drain on otherwise we always welcome the opportunity to discuss other engineering jobs.
