Job Description

My client is currently looking to hire a Mechanical Technician to join their company. The role offers 37 hours per week, with overtime at time and a half on Saturdays and double time on Sundays, alongside 25 days holiday per year plus bank holidays.Responsibilities include:

  • Carrying out workshop maintenance as assigned
  • Liaising with Engineering, Quality Control and Planning departments to ensure timely completion of projects
  • Mechanical assembly of company products and testing as required
  • Ensuring all relevant documents are completing and risk assessments are carried out
The ideal candidate:
  • Strong communication skills and a team player
  • Competent in the use of basic hand and power tools, drill press, tube bending equipment and hydraulic test equipment
  • Able to interpret drawing and sketches
  • Hard working and able to work under pressure
