Registered Care ManagerOur well-established client located in a Care Home in Nottinghamshire, are seeking a Registered Care Manager with Mental Health experience, to join their friendly team on a permanent basis with a salary of £40,000 on offer depending upon experience.Job Overview Care Home Located in Nottinghamshire, we provide residential care for adults with varying needs such as Aspergers, Schizophrenia or eating disorders to age-related illnesses or Dementia. A person-centred care plan is produced tailored to each individualsspecific needs.With residential care services in Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire and East Yorkshire we have a wide range of different career opportunities available supporting adults with varying levels of need, providing person centred, responsive care.Main Responsibilities The main responsibilities as a Registered Care Manager, you will be required to report to the Area Manager, you will be primarily responsible for the health, safety, and wellbeing of up to 67 residents. To ensure effective running and allocation of workto a team of Seniors and Support Workers, including managing the staff rota, performance, health and safety, infection control, conduct and attendance. Continuously striving towards achieving excellence in all areas of practice.You will be required to manage the day-to-day delivery of a high quality, evidence-based person centred, holistic care incorporating meaningful activities for people living with mental health conditions. Maintaining up to date knowledge of best practiceand developments.To oversee staffing levels to ensure that appropriate levels of staff are maintained, taking appropriate action in the event of any gaps in service. Maintaining up to date and accurate records in compliance with Information Governance.Practice within the guidance and legal framework of CQC Regulations and the Essential standards of Quality and Safety, Infection Control, Medication and Confidentiality, and National Medical Councils standards and guidance. To ensure Information Governanceand confidentiality is always adhered to.Skills Required Qualifications essential /Desirable MUST meet the following criteria:Qualification in Dementia, Mental Health, or Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) Current registration not essential.Management qualification or post-qualifying award Diploma Level 5 or working towards (or equivalent) in health care.Diploma level 3 (or equivalent) in Health and Social CareEducated to degree level (or equivalent) Experience and skills Essential /DesirableManagement or supervisory role within care homeSpecialist skills and experience in dementia / mental healthPeople management skills including best practice in recruitment, selection, and performance management.Strong decision making and problem-solving skills.Conducting service reviews and report writingGood level of IT skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, internet-based packages)Development and measurement of Quality Assurance systemsBenefits Wide range of benefits are on offer:
