Job Description

Interaction Recruitment are working with a well established company based in Mansfield who due to expansion are looking for Press Brake Operators to join their growing team on a permanent basis. Salary: £29,000 - £31,000 per annumHours: Monday to Friday 2pm - 10pmDuties will Include:

  • Set up and prepare press brake machines for production runs.
  • Operating the press brake machine, ensuring continuous operation for maximum productivity.
  • Able to read engineering drawings, layouts and templates.
  • Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
  • Load and position metal sheets or plates onto the press brake machine.
  • Perform prescribed preventative maintenance on machines as required.
  • Select and install the appropriate tooling and dies.
  • Moving materials onto and off the press machines, either by crane or manual handling.
  • Monitor the production process to ensure quality and accuracy.
