Job Description

Maintenance Engineer

  • Salary £35,000 -£38,000 & overtime
    • We are currently looking to recruit a Mechanically Biased Maintenance Engineer for a manufacturer based near Mansfield. The ideal candidate must be experienced with Mechanical maintenance, fault finding and repair as well as a basic electrical skill setDuties and responsibilities as a Maintenance Engineer:
  • Planned, reactive & preventative maintenance (PPM)
  • Machine fitting, installation, rebuild, calibrate, refurbish, commission, service & breakdowns
  • Mechanical stripping and rebuilding of machines
  • Hydraulic and Pneumatic maintenance and repair
  • Reading / following engineering drawings
  • Project Work including;
  • Machine upgrades modification Efficiency Improvements
    • Experience/Qualifications required:
  • Engineering Qualification (C&G, NVQ, BTEC, ONC, HNC, Degree or similar)
  • Apprentice trained or level 3 qualified
  • Packaging, FMCG or Plastic manufacturing experience
