Chef, Cook, Catering, Hospitality, Kitchen, Permanent, KirkburtonChefDo you have a passion for bringing food and people together Are you looking for a rewarding job with great opportunities for personal developmentThis renowned company is currently recruiting for a chef with great progression available for the right candidate to join their wonderful team in Kirkburton, working 35-40 hours a week, on a permanent basis with a salary up to £12.00 per hour.Your Responsibilities

  • Managing food production within the relevant section of the kitchen
  • Implement and maintain the company standards for food production, development and chef behaviors on site
  • Deliver training and mentoring to the site based junior team
  • Drive sales and profitability through implementing initiatives driven by the Management Team
  • Ensure you work in a clean, safe and compliant way
  • Put into practice and bring to life the FOOD ideals for chefs in everything you do
  • Ensure standards for food presentation are maintained
  • Ensure food policy and strategy in areas such as allergen management are implemented and followed and food safety is proactively managed across the business
Requires a people person with experience in catering and customer service. This job description is intended to give the post holder an appreciation of the role envisaged and the range of duties and responsibilities to be undertaken. It does not attempt to detailevery activity. Specific tasks and objectives will be agreed with the post holder at regular intervals. The post holder will be required at all times to perform any other reasonable task, as requested by the Line Manager in order to meet the operational needsof the business.Our client is looking for someone with a passion for food, is organized, can cook and wants to produce good and tasty food.There is an element of weddings to the business as well so alongside a menu for students/general public, conferencing and weddings are held throughout the year. The food is fresh, varied but ultimately simple but on whole, the position is varied, ever-changingand really fits someone whos up for a challenge to create a name for the food in the space.Benefits:
