Job Description

Summary As the public face of our properties, you’ll provide a warm, friendly welcome, give information about the property, answer questions and make sure everyone has an enjoyable and memorable visit.This role is an hourly paid, fixed term role. Wherever possible we aim to offer a consistent working pattern, but we’re looking for flexibility as it may be necessary for us to alter this pattern from time to time to suit the needs of the business. Youllprovide extra cover during our busy periods and to provide holiday & sick cover. The hours will vary each month and you may be required at very short notice. Youll also work some weekends and bank holidays. What its like to work here Reporting to the Welcome Manager youll be part of the South Shropshire portfolio team.Youll be joining a small, fun and friendly team working very closely with colleagues and volunteers. Youll be based at the unique Holy Austin Rock Houses and will be required to work across different levels due to the layout of the site.Youll be walkingup inclined pathways and a lot of steps. Please look at the attached document to see an aerial view of the property. What youll be doing Day to day, you’ll deliver a great all-round customer service experience. You’ll be on hand answering queries and listen to what our visitors need so you can share the right information.Your role is to make sure our visitors have the best day they can.You’ll have the chance to be involved in different aspects of the visitor experience, from key property events to social media promotion - no two days are the same.Great visitor experiences are in our nature, and we believe everyone should feel welcomed, appreciated and more engaged because of the excellent service you provide. This role would suit anyone with an enthusiasm for delivering great customer service.Youll also be responsible for the setting up and presentation of the Rock Houses each morning and shutting up the restores rock dwellings at the end of the day. Helping to ensure that our visitor facilities are clean and presentable will also be part ofyour role. Who were looking for Wed love to hear from you if youre:
