Our client is a reputable, highly respected and expanding business in the medical sector who have been established for more than 20 years, based in Southam. Due to a team expansion, they are now looking to acquire the services of an adaptable Finance andBusiness Administrator, reporting directly to the Finance Manager, to help coordinate all aspects of finances and business, optimising efficiency, and financial performance, ensuring long-term strategic objectives are achieved. This is a fantastic opportunity,which would suit an individual who is a self-starter, passionate and resilient looking to work in a varied, dynamic environment, in a supportive team, offering the scope for credible career development.Main Responsibilities: * Run regular reports and submit accurate data within specific timeframes.* Assist with the organisations finances, maximising income and reducing expenditure.* Review all income and expenditure statements, identifying and rectifying any inaccuracies.* Review invoices received, identify, and resolve and discrepancies and pass to the Finance Manager for payment, within the given timeframe.* Maintain an effective system for the handling of fees, petty cash, and cheques.* Continually consider cost-saving projects across all practice expenditure.* Maintain an effective working relationship with stakeholders, ensuring the organisation receives a proportionate and equitable allocation of resources.* Assist with preparation and submission of the annual organisation electronic declaration.* Assist with the organisations surveys as required.* Attend participation group meetings and assist with secretarial duties of the group.* Attend meetings with all stakeholders and take minutes as required.* Liaise with businesses about services.* Support the management team with ad hoc tasks and projects.Key Skills & Experience: * Experience of working in a finance and/or accounting environment.* Experience of using IRIS desirable, but not essential.* Highly communicable, good written and verbal communication skills, and able to interact with a wide variety of individuals.* Computer literate - proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook.* Great attention to detail.* Proactive approach and able to meet deadlines.* An individual who is motivated, a team player, driven to achieve results, self sufficient and able to use their own initiative.* Own transport.Additional Information: * This is a full time, permanent, on-site role, Monday to Friday 9 am - 5 pm (37.5hrs) with 30-minute lunch break.* On-site parking.* Potential for over-time and training opportunities.* Pension scheme, staff room with free hot drinks, biscuits, and fruit.* Candidates must also be willing to undergo a DBS check if offered the role.If you would like to apply for this opportunity, please submit an up-to-date CV including details about your current or most recent salary and your availability/notice period.
