Job Description

Based in Southam my client has a great reputation for keeping a happy team and rewarding its people. This is a lovely opportunity for an experienced Credit Controller to join a team of experienced Credit Controllers collecting from an interesting and variedclient base.Your role will be to:Credit Control Debt management of allocated accounts Chasing of customer for payment and remittance advices Allocation of payments onto computer system Preparation of aged debt reports and stop lists as required Monitoring of failed payments Processing of payment collection notes Ensuring all customer administration is carried out within agreed definitions and parameters Ensuring excellent communications and relationships are maintained with other departmentsInternal Control Ensure that company policy and procedures are adhered to. Ensure the appropriate responses are made in a timely fashion to requests Carry out any reasonable request / tasks as deemed necessary by the office management. Read, understand and action all points in the employee handbook as they become relevant. Inform the manager immediately of anything suspicious, unusual, or contradictory to the proper running of the office. Ensure relevant policies and procedures are followed to enable compliance with all laws and regulations applicable to the aspects of responsibility under the control of this role. Support of internal and external audit activities as required.The role is very much phone based and the successful candidate will already be a Credit Controller (this is not a trainee role, please only apply if you are a Credit Controller at the moment.)The successful candidate can expect to receive:

  • We do rotating weekly shifts, one week 9:30am to 5:30pm, the next week 8.30am to 4.30pm, finishing at 12 noon on the Friday of the early shift.
  • Hybrid working. We currently work 2 days in the office and 3 at home. Depending on which shift, office days are Tuesday and Wednesday, or Wednesday and Thursday.
