Junior Apprentice / Trainee Electrical Estimator who is either a 3rd / 4th Year Apprentice Electrician or a Qualified Electrician that’s seeking an office-based role or someone who’s worked within an electrical wholesale or similar backgroundwith extensive knowledge of electrical products and who’s looking to progress their career is required for a well-established company in Kilsyth, North Lanarkshire, Scotland.If you’re currently an Apprentice Electrician the company will see that your apprenticeship is completed and you’re put through your final assessments.FULL TRAINING PROVIDEDProviding you meet the core requirements for the role, the company will provide full training and support.SALARY: SJIB Electrician Rate (Apprenticeship Rate if still Apprentice)LOCATION: Kilsyth, North Lanarkshire, ScotlandJOB TYPE: Full-Time, PermanentJOB OVERVIEWDue to the company’s continued business growth, we have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Junior Apprentice / Trainee Electrical Estimator who is either a 3rd / 4th Year Apprentice Electrician or a Qualified Electrician that’s seeking an office-basedrole or someone who’s worked within an electrical wholesale or similar background with extensive knowledge of electrical products and who’s looking to progress their career.Working as a Junior Apprentice / Trainee Electrical Estimator you will be part of a commercial team that engages directly with the company’s key clients, whether it be via face-to-face meetings, telephone calls or e-mails to build on the existing relationshipsthey have with their clients.Your duties as the Junior Apprentice / Trainee Electrical Estimator will include:

Booking in new tenders into the tender control system

Sending out enquires for new tenders to sub-contractors

Pricing up and returning competitive tenders to clients

Handing over successful tenders to the contracts department

Commercial input on projects from initiation until final handover of developments

Providing technical back up to site and customer care teams

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

3rd/4th Year Apprentice Electrician (The company will see that the apprenticeship is completed and put through final assessments

Qualified Electricians that seek an office-based role and can use their site experience to help them within the commercial side of the business

Someone who has worked within an electrical wholesaler or similar background with extensive knowledge of electrical products

Required Skills

Computer literate

Numeracy skills

Communication (telephone, e-mails, face-to-face)

Electrical knowledge would be advantageous

SVQ 3 Electrical Installation (or working towards) is desirable
