They are currently seeking a Site Engineer to join their team and contribute to the successful executionof their new power transmission projects. As a Site Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on challenging and rewarding assignments, helping to shape the future of power transmission infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: - Project Management: Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure the successful planning, execution, and delivery of power transmission projects. - Technical Expertise: Utilise your engineering expertise to oversee construction activities, including site inspections, setting out, quality control, and compliance with industry standards and regulations. - Problem Solving: Identify and resolve engineering challenges and issues that may arise during the construction process, ensuring projects stay on track. - Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met. - Health and Safety: Promote a culture of safety on the construction site, ensuring all activities comply with health and safety regulations. - Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, site diaries, and quality records. **Due to the stage of the projects, you will initially be based from their head office on the outskirts of Glasgow before moving onto the projects on site in the upcoming months. Please note, it is likely that these projects will require you to work away fromhome.** Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. - Proven experience working as a Site Engineer on construction projects, preferably in the power transmission sector. - Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and relevant industry standards. - Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Health and safety awareness and relevant certifications. - Proficiency in project management software and tools.
