Job Description

Challenge-trg Recruitment are currently seeking a Central Transport Finance Coordinator for a 6-month FTC to join a well-known UK established retailer at their Daventry Depot, CV238BQYour working hours would be Monday to Friday 8:00am-16:00 (45 mins lunch break); this position can also become Hybrid 2-3 days working from home.Salary £25,000 plus benefits The successful candidate will be responsible for the purchase order processes alongside financial reporting, other finance administration and investigation and resolution of invoicing/purchase order queries. The role holder will also carry out other administrativesupport tasks for the general planning operations.Role and responsibilities Ownership of the site purchase order processes and responsible for raising Purchase Orders to suppliers to ensure accurate and timely paymentPreparation of financial reports by collating daily and weekly information and validating this with depots and third partiesInternal KPI reportingCommunicating effectively daily with internal and external customersCollate, monitor, input and report on data relating to internal transport operationsLiaise with third parties and depots to resolve day-to-day operational issues and resolve invoicing/purchase order queriesContributing towards the improvement of processes/methods of operating practises within the departmentOther general finance administration support as requiredAssisting colleagues within the team on an ad-hoc basisRequirementsExcellent attention to detail with good reporting and analytical skills.Previous financial experience is desirableOracle system experience desirable, MS Excel skills essentialAbility to communicate and influence effectivelyMotivated to be able to work under pressure and able to meet tight deadlinesExcellent communication skills and confident in dealing with problems and challengesAbility to work as part of a team with a positive attitudeMust have a flexible and adaptable approach to demands and changes in work activityEnthusiastic, flexible, reliable and highly organisedOrganise, plan and prioritise your own workload in line with Line Manager guidance, expectations and given deadlinesChallenge-trg Recruitment Ltd is acting as an employment business in relation to this vacancy
