Transport CoordinatorKilsby, Northampton£22,000£25,000MondayFriday06:00 - 14:00 or 14:0022:00Im currently recruiting for an experienced Transport Coordinator to join a large blue chip family run business who specialise within traction only loads in the UK.They are seeking a Transport Coordinator to support the current transport operation in the delivery and exaction of the daily transport plan.The candidate;

Experience within a Transport or Logistics Coordinator position
Previous experience of working within a busy transport office
Experience within a similar warehouse or logistics role is desirable but not essential
Excellent organisation and planning skills
Excellent time management
Strong verbal communications skills
IT and numerical skills and ability to schedule deliveries
Positive attitude / Ability to prioritise

Duties and Responsibilities;

Checking daily delivery schedules provided by logistics partners

Liaising with customer and drivers to deliver a successful, cost-efficient plan
Creating consignments and booking deliveries for orders
Briefing and debriefing drivers
Uploading and filing supplier delivery documentation
Maintain the TMS planning system, the defect and VOR process at all times
Conduct fleet checks and report findings
Updating spreadsheets for analysis and KPI purposes
Maintaining effective internal stakeholder relationships
Providing general office assistance
