Job Description

Position - Transport Co-ordinatorBased - Tesco, RugbySalary - Up to £24kHours - 06.00 > 14.00 or 14.00 > 22.00Role SummaryDue to business growth, we are currently looking to recruit an experienced Transport Co-Ordinator to join our team in a position offering career stability and excellent developmental opportunities in a great working environment.The successful candidate will have sufficient experience in Transport Supervision and be responsible for the successful delivery of the daily transport plan.Duties & Responsibilities

  • Continual monitoring of the daily transport plan to ensure completion of requirement
  • Liaising with customer and drivers to deliver a successful, cost-efficient plan
  • Brief / Debriefing drivers
  • Maintain the TMS planning system
  • Maintain the Defect and VOR process at all times
  • Conduct fleet checks and report findings
  • Updating spreadsheets for analysis and KPI purposes
  • Maintaining effective internal stakeholder relationships to ensure cohesive business plans are achieved
