At Team Brain Injury Support, youll be working with someone living with an Acquired Brain Injury or neurological condition with associated complex care needs. Youll receive fully paid, on the job training so, whether youre an experiencedsupport worker or completely new to the sector, youll have the opportunity to build your skills whilst cultivating a trusted relationship with the person you support. Skills Knowledge and Expertise Our client suffers with muscular dystrophy, scoliosis and left ventricular dysfunction. Your role is to meet their medical needs including tracheotomy care, nippy ventilator, suctioning when required, peg feeding support, personal care and day-to-day assistanceneeds. Our young client has capacity but struggles with verbal communication so uses technology to chat to us, do you love techYou will be supported by a clinical team, with a dedicated nurse available for advice at all times, client specific hands ontraining and comprehensive care & contingency planning. Your role will be to make a difference every day, providing emotional support, cracking a few jokes and ensuring they are living a fulfilled and engaging life.
