Its size and scale, fabulous views and focus on fantastic visitor experience makes Killerton a truly wonderful place to work.For more information about our property please visit killerton The accommodation is at number 2 Francis Court Cottages, a three bedroom semi-detached house, comprising of living room, kitchen bathroom and hallway. The property has both LPG heating and an open fire. Outside there is a small garden to the front of the propertywith a large garden at the rear. This is currently split into sections of lawn, vegetable plot and nature area. To the front of the property there is a shared access drive leading to a garage. The property is situated within walking distance of Killerton Housewith easy access into Exeter, Cullompton and the M5. What youll be doing As the senior member of the House Team, youll manage a Collections & House Officer, Collections Assistants and volunteers to implement preventive conservation and cleaning programmes in the house to ensure excellent standards of care, delivering strategiesto improve conservation. Youll be responsible for the planning and implementation of conservation projects, collections care and daily opening of the house ensuring appropriate resources are in place to provide a consistent and excellent visitor experience.Youll collect and accurately record information to inform our understanding of the house and the collection and use preventive conservation techniques to improve how we conserve, interpret and present the property. Leading by example youll ensure a cultureof excellent customer care, engaging our visitors with conservation and the values and behaviours of the National Trust. • Significant knowledge of working in historic properties.

• An understanding Museum Accreditation standards.

• Experience of collections management and care.

• The ability to bring our collections to life for visitors.

• The propensity to lead and manage large teams of volunteers.

• Knowledge of health and safety and emergency procedures.

• The expertise and attitude to motivate a team.
