Summary ***INTERNAL APLLICANTS ONLY*** The UK is in a nature emergency and is facing a climate crisis with a need to engage more people in our environment. We are looking for a confident project manager to lead and support the development of priority projects delivering for nature, people, climateand history across the Southwest. We are looking for an exceptional communicator and a strong team-player, someone who can take on complex challenges, support, motivate and in some cases, line manage colleagues across the SW. You will be working with an experienced team of managers and specialists,you will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and shaping the delivery of significant nature conservation and associated commercial development work. What youll be doing Supported by both property and consultancy staff you will lead projects and support other Project Managers to develop and delivera range of significant projects to improve our environment . The role will include engagement with stakeholders and key funding partners. Effective time management will ensure that the work delivers at pace and within the funding deadlines. You will be anactive part of the South West region’s project management community, a network of Project Managers sharing best practice, mentoring, providing technical support and development. You will ensure that our programme of projects deliver outcomes in line withour national strategy. Who were looking for • Experience of successfully delivering complex end to end project/programme management, including defining resources, leading procurement securing project teams and matrix management across multiple projects/programmes. • A recognised project (APM/PMQ/Prince) or programme management (MSP) qualification • Evidence of ongoing CPD in your career to date • Excellent problem solving and influencing skills, able to confidently work with senior leaders • Experience of managing complex and difficult external stakeholder relationships The package The National Trust has the motto ‘For everyone, for ever’ at its heart.
