Weekend work required.The Salary: £20,124per annumDuration: Permanent What its like to work here Killerton is a treasure, there is so much to see, learn and explore on this vast 6400-acre estate. The Retail department plays an integral role. We share the stories of properties, coastline and countryside through a myriad of products that have a true connectionwith the National Trust. We work closely with local suppliers too, showcasing the best of Devon. What youll be doing The variety within the role has a lot to offer: From creative elements such as table displays to unloading a delivery. From inducting a new volunteer to processing an invoice. From delivering exceptional customer service to remerchandising the shop. Allof these tasks and so many more await in this exciting role where you will be able to collaboratively work alongside a wonderfully dedicated team who pride themselves on attention to detail, visitor enjoyment and ensuring the shop performs at its best.Youll be required to support the day-to-day management of the property retail operation so that it is commercially successful and consistently exceeds our visitors expectations. Youll monitor stock and merchandise products to achieve stretching financialtargets, leading by example when it comes to maximising our profitability and income.Youll also supervise paid and voluntary retail staff and work effectively alongside colleagues elsewhere in the property to deliver great service to visitors, promoting and enhancing the propertys sense of place.Please read the role profile, attached to this advert. Who were looking for Able to demonstrate strong customer service ethosExperience of working in a retail environment including selling and merchandising skills.Strong people skills enabling good relationships.Knowledge of retail best practice including selling and merchandising skills and effective space management.
