Job Description

Are you a Maintenance Engineer with HGV mechanical knowledge A Maintenance Mechanic is required for a permanent role based in Newmarket working for a leading steel stockholder and supplier. The role will be working Monday - Friday 1.30pm-9.30pm paying a salary of between £25-30k (dependant on experience) plus regular paid over time (1.5).Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance and repair of forklifts and combi lifts on site. You will perform routine inspections and regular monitoring of the vehicles, planned preventative maintenance (PPM), diagnosing any faults and repair.To be successful in this role you must have strong mechanical, hydraulics and electrical maintenance experience. Previous experience in HGV, heavy forklifts, side loaders and multidirectional forklifts will be beneficial along with cover breakdowns on Combi and Machinery.
