Job Role: Maintenance Engineer Location: Kentford, Suffolk Salary: £40,000-£44,000 DOE Hours: 15:30-00:00 Monday to Friday - required to work a minimum 4 hours every fourth Saturday (paid overtime) Job Type: Full time, Permanent Holidays: 28 days including bank holidays Overtime: Available at time ½ The client: Interaction Technical have partnered with a well-established heavy industrial firm based in Kentford on their search for a multi-skilled maintenance engineer to join their growing team. Our client is looking for a maintenance engineer to work on a variety ofmachines including but not limited to CNC, Shot Blasting and Precision Cutting machinery. The Benefits: · After completion of 6 month probationary period, you will receive a personal use Company van and fuel card · Overtime available at time ½ · 28 Days Holiday including bank holidays - 5 extra days after 12 months service · 5% Pension · Private healthcare · Life Insurance · Ongoing commitment to training and progression · Annual Bonus scheme · Regular performance reviews · Length of service rewards · Two weeks sick pay allowance after 5 years service · Specsavers vouchers - if required for your role · Employee Assistance Programme The Role: · Electrical & Mechanical fault finding & rectification on production machinery · Conducting planned and preventative maintenance · Following health and safety policies and procedures · Collaborate with the engineering manager to ensure smooth production of the plant · Monitor and analyse the technical aspects of the production installations optimise efficiency · Working to improve reliability and productivity of equipment · Ensure plant layout changes and installations are completed within the required timescale The Requirements: · Minimum 3 years experience as a maintenance engineer in a heavy industrial environment (essential) · Multiskilled engineer with either a mechanical or electrical bias (essential) · Pneumatic and Hydraulic knowledge (essential) · Relevant qualifications (NVQ or City and Guilds) in mechanical/electrical engineering (advantageous) · PLC knowledge: proven ability to modify (advantageous) · Previous fabrication and welding experience (MMA, MAG, MIG) as well as experience using handling power tools (advantageous) Interaction Recruitment have specialist consultants across the majority of industries within the UK, including but not limited to, Finance & IT, Technical & Engineering, Industrial, Commercial and Hospitality.
