Multi-skilled engineer working within a team to inspect, fault find and repair production machinery and company facilities to maintain an efficient, productiveand safe site. The successful candidates will already be working as a multi-skilledengineer inspecting, fault finding and repairing production machinery and company facilities. Maintaining an efficient, productive and safe site.Shift details;21.0007.30, 40 hours per week, Monday to Thursday or14:0022:00, 40 hours per week Monday to Friday then 4 hours every forth Saturday paid as overtimeMulti-skilled engineer working within a team to inspect, fault find and repair production machinery and company facilities to maintain an efficient, productive and safe site.Requirements:

Good mechanical and electrical skills.

Pneumatic and Hydraulic knowledge, along with PLC, inverter, instrumentation and control experience.

Knowledge of various mechanical drive arrangements, including simplex, duplex, chain, belt, gearboxes and transmission equipment is required.

You must hold a valid UK driving license and have experience in a heavy industrial environment.

A forklift and MEWP licence would be desirable but not essential.

In house fabrication, maintenance including welding (mma, mag & mig), flame cutting, plasma cutting. Handling power tools including, but not limited to, abrasive wheels, plasma cutter, mag drills and punch

City and Guilds/NVQ3/HNC/ in electrical mechanical is required

Duties:Performing preventative maintenance routines and condition monitoring of production machinery and facilities as per the inspection schedules. Maintaining accurate records of findings and works carried outLiaising closely with the Maintenance Supervisor and operations staff in all aspects to ensure efficient, effective and planned reactive maintenance at all timesMaking safety inspections of tools and equipmentDiagnosing faults and repairing machines in a safe manner to minimise downtime and costAnticipating machine failures and making such changes or recommendations to prevent re-occurrence and to minimise downtimeWorking to improve reliability and productivity of equipmentCompleting written records of all maintenance activitiesCarrying out maintenance tasks diligently and in good time using appropriate methodologyBeing proactive in identifying and carrying out potential machine upgrades to improve lifespan, efficiency, productivity or safety of the machine and communicating these to the management team for considerationIf you have the experience required and are happy with the above, please apply today
