Engineering Support Operatives Job Location: KentfordJob Type: PermanentStarting salary: £10.82 per hour - £11.54 per hour with lots of overtime paid at x1.5Hours available: Nightshift: Monday - Thursday 11.30pm - 7am - £10.82 phTwilight Shift: Monday - Friday 6pm - 12.30am - £11.54 phA fantastic opportunity has arisen to join an expanding engineering company based in Kentford.The company supplies industrial materials to local and national companies and due to an increase in business demands, new customers and business growth, they are recruiting now for a number of Engineering Support Operatives to join their team.The company will offer excellent training on their processes, how to work efficiently to their requirements and also train you to drive a forklift.This is a great opportunity to join a leading company who is experiencing growth and offer excellent working conditions, excellent company benefits, regular overtime paid at x 1.5, job training and a forklift training.The role is varied and will include the following for working in each department: Engineering Support

  • Marking up materials, ready for engineering process
  • Operating various engineering machines and hand tools
  • Cutting, bending and drilling materials to customer specifications
  • Keeping the working areas clean and tidy
  • Working within a team environment to achieve delivery targets

  • Experience of working within either an engineering, manufacturing or production company
  • Excellent timekeeping and attendance
