Are you an experienced Class 1 Driver looking for a permanent role We have a role based in Kentford with attractive day time hours Monday- Friday Full Time 40hrs 07:00-15:30 (with flexibility) overtime available paid at x1.5. This is permanent role with a salary of £23,374 per annum.As a Class 1 Driver for a leading manufacturing company you will be driving a company lorry on multi-drop runs within East Anglia, Midlands and London. The job duties will include loading and unloading of the lorry at the various locations, carrying out vehicle checks at the start of shift, ensuring continued load security, following all set out delivery plans, identifying and locating different steel products, collating orders and preparing stock for delivery. You will be responsible for safety of your vehicle, driving in accordance with road traffic laws and report to the Transport Manager.It is essential you have a full clean UK Licence and HGV Class 1 license, with a FLT or Combi Lift ideally.
