Volunteer Opportunity: Support New and Expectant Parents Across Kent - PLEASE NOTE THIS IS AN UNPAID VOLUNTARY OPPORTUNITY Are you passionate about making a positive impact in your community Do you have a heart for supporting new and expectant parents during one of lifes most exciting but challenging journeys If so, we have an incredible opportunity for you to join our teamas a volunteer!We are currently seeking dedicated individuals to join teams across Kent in providing invaluable assistance, coaching, and support to new and expectant parents and families. As a volunteer, youll have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in thelives of others while enriching your own.FULL TRAINING AND SUPPORT WILL BE GIVEN - NO PRIOR EXPERIENCE NEEDED Role:Volunteer Support Provider for New and Expectant ParentsLocation: Various areas across Kent (12 hubs to choose from)Time Commitment: 2-3 hours per week (flexible scheduling) for up to 12 monthsResponsibilities:Offer emotional support, guidance, and encouragement to new and expectant parents.Provide practical assistance and helpful tips on parenting, baby care, and family well-being. Listen actively and empathetically to the concerns and questions of parents, offering reassurance and resources as needed. Help connect families with additional community resources and services, if necessary.Requirements:Compassionate and empathetic nature with a genuine desire to help others. -Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to commit 2-3 hours per week to volunteering activities. Respect for diversity and cultural differences. Prior experience in parenting, childcare, or family support.
