Electronics CAD Engineer - Safety Technology (Contract)CPS Group is seeking an Electronics CAD Engineer to join our esteemed global client based in Kent on an initial 3 - 4+ month contract, outside IR35. There is potential that this contract will be extended to 6 months.Industry: Safety TechnologyLocation: Kent (On-site 4 days per week)Contract Length: Initially 3 - 4 months (Extensions likely and expected)Start: ImmediateIR35 Status: Outside IR35Rate: Flexible (£35 - £40 per hour +)Responsibilities:Collaborate closely with our clients team to develop and implement electronic solutions in the realm of safety technology.Engage in data front-end entry tasks involving symbols, footprints, and data sheets, ensuring accuracy and completeness.Utilize Altium CAD packages or similar Electronic CAD software proficiently to design and modify electronic components and systems.Conduct thorough checks and verifications of completed work, reporting findings promptly and accurately.Adapt to evolving project requirements and contribute proactively to process improvements.Requirements:Background in electronics with demonstrable experience working with electrical components.Proficiency in Altium CAD packages or similar Electronic CAD software.Familiarity with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) or PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) systems is advantageous.Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work within deadlines.Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.Flexibility to work on-site 4 days per week initially, transitioning to 2 days WFH once fully acclimatized with systems and processes.This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge safety technology projects and be a pivotal part of our clients dynamic team.Electronics CAD Engineer - Safety Technology (Contract)By applying to this advert you are giving CPS Group (UK) Ltd authority to hold and process your data for this specific role and any other roles we may deem suitable to you over time.
