Job Description

Job Title: Senior Transport PlannerOffice Location: Maidstone, KentSalary Range: £30,000 - £40,000A position has become available for a Senior Transport Planner with a strong background in development planning to join the Maidstone office of an independent planning consultancy.Working within a well-established team, you will have the opportunity to tackle an interesting and challenging range of projects including residential developments & garden villages, industrial projects, long-term government schemes and educational establishments across the country.Candidate Specification:

  • Degree level education in a relevant subject;
  • Significant consultancy based experience in transport planning;
  • Excellent report writing & communication skills;
  • Proficiency with Arcady, Picady, LinSig & AutoCAD would be beneficial;
  • Competent project manager;
  • Based locally;
  • Experience of mentoring more junior staff would be beneficial.
    • If successful, you will be involved in the provision of transport assessments & statements, development of travel planning schemes, preliminary junction layout design and the analysis of traffic data.
