Job Description

Job Title: Senior Transport PlannerOffice Location: KentSalary Range: £30,000 - £40,000An independent planning consultancy based in Kent is looking to expand the team through the appointment of a Senior Transport Planner with a background in development planning. You will join a well-established team based in Maidstone, who are fully committed to mentoring & supporting the development of its staff, along with providing long term opportunities for career development.Candidate Specification:

  • Degree level education in a relevant subject;
  • Significant consultancy based experience in transport planning;
  • Excellent report writing & communication skills;
  • Proficiency with Arcady, Picady, LinSig & AutoCAD would be beneficial;
  • Competent project manager;
  • Based locally;
  • Experience of mentoring more junior staff would be beneficial.
    • If successful, you will be involved in the provision of transport assessments & statements, development of travel planning schemes, preliminary junction layout design and the analysis of traffic data.
