Job Description

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Raw Materials Sampler is available for our client a leading global supplier of Ingredients and Premix Manufacturing solutions for the Food, Beverage and Nutrition industries. Based in Kent, this role is a Mondayto Friday position and the hours are 2pm-10pm. The main duties will be:

  • Carry out sampling or raw materials according to procedures and requirements of production plan and take retained samples
  • Coordinate goods in testing, as per risk assessment
  • Support raw material monitoring plan by taking samples and sending for analysis
  • Signing supplier raw material CoA.
  • Coordinate concession, pre-shipment samples and urgent orders with customer support team
  • Participate to GMP and hygiene Audits plan and weekly environmental and allergen swabs in production
  • Support validation activities (allergen, homogeneity, cleaning, shelf-life)
  • Carry out some of the site pre-requisite controls such as; allergens monitoring, environmental monitoring, temperature and humidity records
  • Verifying batch documents and labels prior to releasing them to production for manufacture
  • Assist with induction training for new starters in production
  • Lead the handover to the Quality Technologist (day shift) experience
The successful candidate will have a Degree in a Science field or industry experience in a Quality/Technical role. A Forklift Licence is preferred as is warehouse experience. Food Safety Level 2 and HACCP Level 2 is also preferred. You will be IT proficientand have great verbal and written communication skills. Someone who is able to build relationships and happy to share knowledge with colleagues.
