Job Description

Pumps / Biogas Service EngineerLocation - Kent based, therefore youll need to live within a commutable distance of Kent with the role requiring travel throughout the South East and as a Mobile Engineer.Superb opportunity for an experienced Biogas Engineer to join a leading and well-established client of ours who offer a range of services within the Mechanical, Electrical and Engineering industry.Job Role:

  • Responsible for service, maintenance and repair of Biogas systems and working within the Landfill Gas, Anaerobic Digestion and Power industry.
  • Youll need to carry out the servicing of boiler plant, gas boosters and compressors.
  • Inspect, maintain and repair safety devices, gauges, flare stacks and pipework.
  • Repair and maintain stainless steel gas pipe systems, sewage sludge heat exchangers and components.
  • Repair and maintain gas bags and gas storage vessels.
  • Repair cracks and leaks to anaerobic digesters, pressure test and purge.
Key Skills & Experience Required:
  • Relevant industry background as a field / mobile engineer within the Biogas or Anaerobic Digestion industry.
  • Ideally youll hold some gas certificates i.e. COCN1, ICPN1, TCPA1, TPCP1, BMP1, CDGA1, CIGA1 - (however not essential).
  • Ideally some basic knowledge of biogas systems and within the water industry is preferred.
Salary/Package:
  • £38k-£42k Base Salary (depending on experience) + travel.
  • Van, Pension & Benefits.
  • Call out rota.
  • 25 days holiday + bank.
