Job Description

Dawson Levy is delighted to be working with their client, a specialist Surveying SME, based near Folkestone, Kent to recruit for a Cad Technician/Office based Land Surveyor, to join their small team. CAD TECHNICIAN / OFFICE BASED LAND SURVEYORJob Role

  • Survey processing, CAD & issue of all types of survey
  • Process point clouds and generate 3D models
  • QA checks on survey information prior to issue to client
  • Liaise with clients
Essential Attributes
  • Experience in AutoCAD
  • Self-motivated, resourceful & ability to apply survey knowledge to problem solving
  • Knowledge of Land and Measured Building Survey processes
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast paced IT led industry
  • Ability to work to a high degree of accuracy and a passion for high cartographic standard of output
Desirable Attributes
  • Minimum of 3 - 5 years relevant survey experience
  • Experience in survey processing software
  • Experience of Rhino and Revit modelling software
  • Experience in point cloud registration software
  • Degree/HND/Diploma qualification in Land Surveying or related qualification
