Job Description

Team Lead / Software Development ManagerHybrid (3 days in office)Startup environmentWill look at taking over from Head of IT in 12-18 months.React and Java experience will be key.Project ManagementManage internal and external IT projects and staff.Liaison with consulting staff.Software testing and acceptance.Software Development:Analysis model and equation development, testing and implementation.Maintain existing Vaadin based applications, minor bug fixes and enhancements.Updates to Lubes software (Vaadin based) and associated data tables and structures for new data forms and output requirements.Design and develop Java interfaces between the business logic, associated data structures and database tables and API level code.Spring Boot backend development & design / implementation of OpenApi.DevOpsManagement and maintenance of Azure Tenants and resources and access control.Management of PIMS production and test environments.Management and maintenance of Azure DevOps code repositories.Management of JIRA and Wiki.MS SQL Databases update and management.Support:Support internal and external users on PIMS systems.Periodic update of research databases.General IT management & liaison with IT support providers.User and technical documentation creation & maintenance.
