Job Description

Position: Training AssistantSalary: up to £25,000paType: Permanent, Hybrid, Full-TimeLocation: Remote for the time beingAbout YouWe are seeking a training assistant to support the internal and external training and course build officers in the creation, development and delivery of our training courses.You will assist with all elements of training including application checks and responses, setting up training dates and modules, booking training for external clients, playing a pro-active support role in training sessions, any ad hoc duties assigned toyou and ensuring key information is distributed in a timely manner. You will support both the Training Lead & the Training Course Builder.The successful candidate will also engage with all training groups, answering any questions, responding to queries and obtaining feedback.Applicant Specification:

  • You should be proactive, positive and reliable, with an ability to work as part of a team and making assessments throughout internal & external training sessions.
  • You should have a dynamic approach to your work, demonstrating and improving your skillsets with this wonderful opportunity
  • It’s essential you are a team player, can follow direction and guidance & really want to learn
  • You should be resourceful, investigative, informed & keep yourself charity/industry aware, and have a strong interest and awareness in mental wellbeing & suicide.
Main Role Responsibilities
  • Allocating training dates & entering on website
  • Assisting with the update of training materials & documents
  • Attending all training sessions in support
  • Keeping notes of each of the trainees and raising any uncertainties, and why these exist.
  • Maintaining the training spreadsheet
  • Working closely with the volunteer co-ordinator at training times
  • Ad hoc duties
  • Part of the decision-making process regarding trainees.
Key Skills you must have:
  • Microsoft and all its aps, including teams, outlook, word, Excel & Adobe Creatives.
  • Great communication skills
  • You must be friendly, approachable, keen to help, be a great communicator & well organised
  • You will use WordPress website to update training information monthly.
Until our premises are finalised, you should be prepared to travel within a 20-mile radius of Kenilworth. Afterwards, you will work 3 days in, 2 days at home. If you prefer to be office based all 5 days, please tell us. Initially youwill work from home 5 days a week.If you meet the above criteria and are interested in the position, apply today!
