Job Description

Our client is a well-respected and growing company based near Kenilworth. They are market leaders in delivering events & conferences for senior level participants (Corporate CXOs, VPs and Directors). They are now looking to recruit a Sales Manager to jointheir team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has B2B Sales Manager experience or B2B Senior Sales experience that would like to progress into an Sales Manager position and passionate about events. The successful candidate will be responsibledriving speaker and delegate attendance for all international events and will be responsible for hosting and overseeing events. In addition to this they will be responsible for mentoring, developing and coaching the sales team.Main Responsibilities:

  • Project Manage high-quality, complex, and high touch events from design and planning through to onsite delivery from a speaker perspective
  • Managing and developing the sales team, reviewing their development plans and coaching them in order to achieve objectives
  • Manage content proposals from start to finish including creative solutions, presentation, and delivery
  • Lead meetings with Internal & External stakeholder discussing Content & Delegates attendance throughout project cycles
  • Managing deadlines and overseeing the teams activities whilst achieving key targets
  • Understand client business objectives and competitive scenarios, challenging the brief and adding value in discussions and presentations
  • Identify and maximise on potential opportunities with existing clients
  • Forge strong relationships with existing and potential clients, developing business through your excellent experience and advice
  • Manage content proposals from start to finish including creative solutions, presentation, and delivery
  • Gather and share post-event feedback and learnings within the team and hold debriefs and use for future team planning and guidance
Key Skills/Experience:
  • Previous experience within B2B sales & delivery
  • Previous experience in leading teams and developing, mentoring & coaching junior team members
  • Demonstratable experience in directing and managing B2B/Corporate events
  • Excellent Communication skills with high attention to detail
  • Ability to build fantastic working relationships and rapport building
  • Self starter, Enthusiastic, Pragmatic & agile mentality
  • Excellent project management and organisational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment and prioritise the work load
  • A team player but also able to work autonomously (people person)
  • Full driving license, transport & Passport(essential)
Additional Information:
  • Working hours are Monday - Friday, 9 am - 5:30 pm, 1 hour break, 3 days a week in the office.
  • National & international travel, Team lunches, Free parking.
