Product Quality Engineer Role Kenilworth Coventry £50,000

    • Product Quality Engineer Role Kenilworth Coventry £50,000 If so, then please see below...Huxley Engineering and an Engineering Technology Innovator in the Power Generation Industry are looking to recruit Product Quality Engineer r on a staff basis, to support the development and production of micro gas turbines for the Power Generation Industries.Based in the Kenilworth / Coventry area and reporting into the Product Quality Manager, Product Quality Engineer role is a permanent position and the Product Quality Engineer will be responsible:
  • "Cradle - to - Grave" Quality Lifecycle
  • NPI activities (Internally & Supplier)
  • Product Launches
  • Ongoing maintenance and development of company and supplier performance based on supplier, internal, customer and warranty data
  • VA/VE activities to maintain and improve company position & products
    • Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience Required for Product Quality Engineer role
  • Minimum 10 years experience in automotive or aerospace Quality Assurance Engineering at a senior level
  • Preferably qualified to HND level within a related Engineering discipline (Mechanical /Electrical.)
  • An understanding of casting, pressing, harnesses, electronics
  • Lean 6 Sigma green belt preferable
  • Proven problem-solving abilities with the 8D, 5 why and able to demonstrate a wide range of tools and techniques (Ishikawa, is/ is not DoE etc)
  • Excellent working knowledge of ISO9001, preferably lead auditor trained
  • Excellent working knowledge of ISO 14001
  • Excellent understanding or health and safety in the workplace
  • Excellent working knowledge of AIAG core tools
  • Highly developed written and oral communication skills with strong presentation preparation and delivery
  • Proven interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and influence a cross functional team where direct authority does not exist.
  • Able to read Engineering Drawings.
  • Working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Basic understanding of SAP, excellent understanding of Microsoft Office
