Job Description

Planning ClerkWe are recruiting for a Planning Clerk for our well established client in Coventry.As a Planning Clerk you will need to have/be:

  • Experience of working in a matrix organisation with complex processes and procedures
  • Operational/production context
  • Understanding of Supply Chain in the UK/I
  • Customer specific procedures
    • Details:
  • Salary: £25,000.00 per annum pro rata
  • Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 6.00am - 2.00pm/2.00pm - 10.00pm
  • Location: Coventry
  • Duration: 3 months potentially ongoing
    • Role of a Planning Clerk:
  • To plan and co-ordinate activities of drivers; providing effective communication and motivation
  • Resource planning and allocation of agency
  • Manage the driver rota, absence and holiday
  • Use the planning systems, Plan-it, Paragon (desirable) and Microlise to allocate volumes to a delivery schedule
  • Work with management to ensure company policies are communicated, applied and deployed
